As experienced parents of child riders we saw a need
for a direct - hands on approach to teaching young
children about horses and horseback riding at an
affordable rate.
Youngsters can come and explore horses in a safe
environment. A foundation of ground safety, ground
work, grooming, tack, balance, confidence and
security will be developed. Students will build self
esteem and pride through hard work and facing
challenges through team work.

Extended Summer Lesson Program:
Students will explore a variety of subjects from horse
anatomy to riding. Students will ride both bareback
and in saddle to develop balance and security.
Summer Lesson Sessions are 4 hours each day, the
program is 3 days. 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Students will bring bag lunches which will be enjoyed
in the redwood grove.
The children will experience summer days at a horse
ranch and have fun running around after the horses,
ponies, foals, goats and much more. They will enjoy
picking apples in our apple orchard.
The sessions will be filled with riding, bathing, feeding
and cleaning. Preparing the horses to bed down for
the day. Students will also learn tack care and horse
health issues.

Session class size is limited to 3 students each session. This will ensure
maximum personal attention and training for each student.
